The sex photos scandal that has rocked Hong Kong showbiz and publicly embarrassed entertainers, including Edison Chen (陳冠希), Gillian Chung (鍾欣桐), Bobo Chan (陳文媛) and Cecilia Cheung (張栢芝), showed no signs of abating today, as more photos leaked onto the internet.
Netizens reported dozens of new sex photos of a woman, purported to be Bobo, and a man, purported to be Edison, surfacing online this afternoon.
Bobo was one of the first celebrities to be implicated by the scandal, when photos allegedly of her giving Edison oral sex started circulating on the web a fortnight ago.
Hong Kong newspapers have rumoured for days that Bobo's planned wedding to wealthy boyfriend Philip Jin (金紫耀) had been cancelled at the behest of his mother.
Earlier in the day, new photos purportedly of Gillian, Cecilia and Edison's current girlfriend Vincy Yeung (楊永晴) were leaked.
Police have not held a press briefing since the Chinese New Year holiday began. Police have so far arrested eight people in connection with the spread of photos, but this has not halted new images being leaked onto the web throughout the holiday period.
Netizens have rumoured that an internet user with the online alias "Kira" is the source of the leaks.
Kira was quoted by netizens as writing with a leak of photos two days ago that he will be releasing an Edison and Gillian sex tape shortly: "video will coming out soon... 32 mins video of E & G".
Kira seemed to be playing a game of catch me if you can with Hong Kong police. He was quoted as writing: "I am not in hk, so i dun give a sh*t".

A former Major League Baseball clubhouse attendant who sold steroids to dozens of players and later shared information with investigators received a sentence of five years probation but no jail time from a federal judge on Friday.
Kirk Radomski, 38, who was a batboy and equipment manager with the New York Mets from 1985 to 1995, pleaded guilty in April 2007 to distributing steroids and money laundering.
"I would like to apologize to the court, to my family, my friends for everything I have done," said Radomski. "It hasn't been easy on me or my family."
He has since cooperated with authorities probing the spread of performance-enhancing drugs among top athletes.
"He is probably the most significant cooperator in the area of sports athletic doping," prosecutor Matthew Parrella told the judge, explaining that the federal government was not seeking any jail time. "His extensive and immediate cooperation deserve recognition."
Radomski has testified before former Sen. George Mitchell's commission, which alleged widespread steroid use in Major League Baseball, and will appear before a congressional committee in Washington next week.
His lawyer said Radomski received anonymous threats by telephone after the Mitchell Report was released in December.

Washington, February 8: Hollywood superstar George Clooney has revealed that he tried to trick a studio boss into believing he had previously worked on 1982 movie ‘Cat People’, in order to land his first movie role.
The ‘Syriana’ star says that his lie was caught because the Paul Schrader-directed production had been cast by the same person. However, Clooney still managed to bag another role that enabled him to become a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), even though the film was never released.
"You couldn't get a job without getting into the Screen Actors Guild, so everybody would make up these credits just to get in. They didn't have internet then so you go away with anything,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
"I remember lying to a casting director about this movie Cat People. She was like, 'You were in that?' I was, like, yep, and she goes, 'Because I cast that.' KIRSTEN DUNST NOT DOING WELL IN REHAB
On Thursday, February 7th, 2008, Kirsten Dunst checked herself into rehab and is being treated at the exclusive Cirque Lodge Treatment Center in Utah, the same facility where Lindsay Lohan spent nearly two months, for her addiction issues, but sources say that she is not doing well.
“She’s not doing well. People were pushing her to go in there but there was no intervention… She has been partying hard for a while and I’m sure the Heath Ledger thing put people over the edge. She’s been crying a lot lately, a lot built up. …Everybody hits that bottom where you feel [so] scared that that one heavy night of partying can really wake you up. In Jan 2008, nude photos of man and women resembling Edison Chen, Gillian Chung, Bobo Chan, and Cecilia Cheung surfaced on Hong Kong forums and quickly spreaded to all over the Internet. The photo clearly showed the genital and nipples of the women, and the face of the man can be clearly seen. A blackmail was reported, asking several millions dollars to be paid by Chinese New Year or thereatening to release more than a thousand of similar photos resembling Edison Chen and other female celebrities. The management agency of the celebrities denied the authenticity of those photos and filed a police report. The news spreaded very quickly and became the headlines of Hong Kong local newspapers.
The photographs became the talk of the town, and journals attempted to authenticate the photographs by comparing physical features of those celebrities. The police, and photo experts who examined the photos involving the first three female celebrities, say the photos are unlikely to have been photoshopped. It has been know by the public that in the past few years, Edison had relationship with at least 14 Hong Kong female celebrities and might have pictures taken with him. Some of those celebrities including Maggie Q, Gillian Chung, Bobo Chan, Cecilia Cheung, and Jolin Tsai.
POLICE INVESTIGATION
Hong Kong police have been known for being highly effective in crime investigation. More than 100 police officers had been sent to investigate the case and urge the forum communities to delete the pictures at once. The police retrieved the IP addresses of more than 30 Internet users who allegedly posted photographs. On 31 January, an unemployed 29 year-old man was arrested with 12 pictures on his computer. On 2 February, police arrested four men and two women who were suspected to be related to the distribution of the photographs.
According to the police, during the year 2007, Edison Chen brought his computer to their shop for maintenance. The suspects were the people who fixed his computer and discovered over 1,300 nude photos or those depicting sex acts. They secretly copied these onto their own computers. On 4 February, A 29-year-old man became the eighth person to be detained in connection with the internet posting of nude photos. On the same day, the 23-year-old man, Sze Ho-Chun, was charged with the dishonest use of computers with criminal intent, which has a maximum penalty of five years of imprisonment.
The police then stated that the authenticity of the pictures are no longer in line of enquiry and said of the 6 women found in the photographs, 4 were local celebrities; 2 were not known to the police. On 5 Feb 2008, 6 more photographs of people resembling the actresses surfaced on the internet. On 6 February, a forum user named "Kira" promised to release a 32-minute video, allegedly of Edison Chen and Gillian Chung, on 7 February. In spite of the ongoing raids in Hong Kong, Kira reportedly wrote that he did not "give a sh*t" since he was "not in Hong Kong" to begin with. In the early hours on Chinese New Year's day, several hundred more photographs appeared on the Internet.
